On Friday, July 12, riders from out of town will arrive at La Quinta, check in to their rooms, and register in the La Quinta Lobby from 3PM on for the Rumble. During and after check in, we’ll gather in the lobby and parking lot to meet and greet. At 5PM, we’ll take a leisurely ride through town and country to dinner. After dinner, we’ll cruise downtown Albany, passing by the State Capital, Empire Plaza, Lark Street (Albany’s Greenwich Village where Sheldrake has been known to spin some discs) and Washington Park.
Saturday, July 13, are the main events. At 8:30 a.m., after everyone has had an opportunity to grab a free continental breakfast in the hotel, we’ll ride to the grounds of the Capital District Regional Market, where local riders will converge to register. There will be a choice of two rides, A local ride for scooters under 150cc (or for anyone wishing a shorter distance and slower pace), and another to explore the breathtaking scenery along a three state route, circling through New York, Vermont and Massachusetts

Scott and Dan will lead this fabulous ride! Wonderful country roads through lovely hills and farms, and with spectacular views of the Green Mountains. This will be our best ride yet. It’s not about a destination, but about a ride through the stunning countryside on mildly curvy and hilly un-trafficked roads.
The ride is about 6 hours; in total, including plenty of time for lunch and gas stops. We’ll leave at 9:30 and be back at the market between 3 and 4. People will remember this ride, they don’t get much prettier.
